Deborah Minor is the founder of The Women’s Round Table. She is an advocate for fairness and equality for all. Helping to improve the quality of life for others and giving back to the community is a top priority. Her philosophy is: “You can do anything you put your mind to.” After retirement from the federal government, she determined to fulfill and pursue a long awaited vision of starting her own Women’s Round Table.
Ms. Minor previously served as the Acting Deputy Associate Administrator at the Small Business Administration and provided oversight of 90 Women Business Centers and Women Round Tables across the country. She dedicated almost 35 years of her professional career to upholding civil rights and particularly rights of women.
She enjoys championing causes that empower women who might feel disenfranchised. Celebrating women and people from all walks of life is a quality she is very passionate about. As iron sharpens iron, she believes women embracing one another's human differences helps to create a better you.
A member of the Federally Employed Women (FEW) organization, graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and Certified Mediator, Counselor, and Investigator. She is a registered Mediator with the Supreme Court of Georgia and currently working on her certification for the Supreme Court of Virginia.
A motivational speaker and was privileged to speak at a White House Hispanic Initiative on Cultural Competency. She has developed and led impactful conferences and many on Capitol Hill to celebrate women with notable attendees and dignitaries from the federal government, Congress, media, and other fields.
